Jewdriver

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jewdriver is a Jewish skinhead band from Oakland, California . The name alludes to the neo-Nazi skinhead band Skrewdriver from Great Britain. They mostly play cover versions of this band, but change the lyrics to be pro-Jewish.

In 1994, Ian Stuartstein (an allusion to Ian Stuart ), Jay Oniskinswitz and Max Bagels founded the band GI JEW in Oakland (California) , which subsequently appeared at concerts with Rancid , Green Day , Lizards and Neurosis, among others . After an awakening experience in 1996, Ian Stuartstein left the previous band and together with young Zionist skinheads founded a new band called Jewdriver, which often played at weddings and bar mitzvas . After a long stay in Israel , Max Bagel rejoined the band in 2001.

A little later there was another line-up change, in which all previous musicians were fired again and a new formation was found in Kilgore Gefilte (lead guitar), Fujiyama Mountainberg (bass) and Jadahu (drums). The band quickly opened up a wide audience and the most loyal fans, especially Zionist skinheads who wear Yarmulke and who throw bagels at concerts , formed a fan group called the "Fruit of Israel" (FOI) protection force.

After the temporary exit of Fujijama and Judahu, Aryan Sharon took over the bass as "Minister for Propaganda" and He-Brew who Cannot be Named the drums.
