Yevgeny Alexandrowitsch Popow ( Russian Евгений Александрович Попов ; born September 18, 1984 in Penza ) is a former Russian cyclist and sports director.

Yevgeny Popov won the bronze medal in the road race of the U23 riders behind Dmytro Grabovskyy and William Walker at the 2005 road cycling world championship in Madrid . He has been driving for the farm team of the Dutch ProTour team Rabobank since 2006 . In the spring he finished second in the Ronde van Noord-Holland and he won the one-day race Omloop in the Kempen . At the Münsterland Giro , he finished sixth.

In 2013 and 2014, Popow was the Sports Director of the Continental Team Itera-Katusha .
