Evgeni Wiktorowitsch Skatschkow ( Russian Евгений Викторович Скачков ; born July 14, 1984 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK Junost Minsk from the Belarusian extra league .
Career
Yevgeny Skachkov began his career as a hockey player at Disel Penza , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division, in the 2001/02 season . In the following season, the winger ran for Kapitan Stupino in the multinational East European Hockey League . He then spent three seasons in the Russian capital, where he played for one year for HK CSKA Moscow , from whose youth department he came from, and for two years for neighbor HK Spartak Moscow in the super league.
From 2006 to 2010 Skachkov was under contract with HK Traktor Chelyabinsk , for which he was initially active in the KHL for two years in the Super League, and then from the 2008/09 season after the club was accepted into the newly founded Continental Hockey League was. Before the 2010/11 season , the Russian was signed by the reigning Gagarin Cup winner Ak Bars Kazan and completed almost 100 KHL games for the club by 2013 before his contract expired and he moved to SKA Saint Petersburg in June 2013 .
In the 2014/15 season Sjomin was under contract with Salawat Julajew Ufa and was used for Ufa 61 times in the KHL, collecting 23 points scorer. He then moved to HK Sochi in July 2015 .
At the beginning of the 2017/18 season, Skachkov was under contract with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk , but was released in November 2017 and signed by HK Junost Minsk from the Belarusian extra league at the end of December 2017 . With Junost he reached the runner-up title in 2018 and won the IIHF Continental Cup .
