Kapitan Stupino ( Russian Капитан Ступино ) is a Russian ice hockey club from Stupino ( Moscow Oblast ), which plays in the second-rate Vysschaja Liga . The club plays its home games in the Bobrow Ice Sports Palace, which opened in 2004 and is named after Vsevolod Mikhailovich Bobrow .

history

The club was founded in 1951 as Trud Stupino and renamed Kapitan Stupino in 1999 . There was no men's team in the 1980s. It was not until the late 1990s that a team was created again that took part in the third-rate Pervaya League . The club has played in the Vysschaya League since 2001. The club temporarily took part in the East European Hockey League . Kapitan Stupino is the farm team of KHL participant HK Dynamo Moscow , who regularly sends young talents to the club.

In its history so far, the club has not yet won a title.
