The HK Vitebsk ( Russian ХК Витебск ) is a Belarusian ice hockey team from Vitebsk , in the Belarusian Extraliga plays. The club was founded in 1959 and plays its home games in the Vitebsk Ice Sports Palace , which has a capacity of 1,900.
history
HK Vitebsk was founded in 1959. The team took part for the first time in the 1994/95 season in the game operation of the Belarusian extra league, in which it competed regularly in the following period. From 2001 to 2004 the team also took part in the East European Hockey League .
