The HK Titan Klin ( Russian ХК Титан Клин ) is a Russian ice hockey club from Klin . The club's professional team played in the Vysschaya Hockey League between 2011 and 2014 and played their home games in the Valery Kharlamov Ice Palace, named after the former ice hockey player Valery Kharlamov . The club colors are green, yellow and white.
history
The club was founded under the name Chimik Klin before it was renamed Titan Klin in 1991. In the 2003/04 season , the Titan team took part in the East European Hockey League and won the twelve-game cup competition of the same.
Until 2010, the team took part in the game operation of the Vysschaya League before they had to relegate to the third division, the Pervaya League , as part of the league reform . For the 2011/12 season, the team was re-added to the Wysschaja Hockey League as an expansion team.
Titan Klin acted as the farm team for KHL participant HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk . After the 2013/14 season, the club for financial reasons from the Supreme Hockey League withdrew, provides since then but a junior team in the Junior Hockey League Championships .
