Jhonatan Souza Motta , full name Jhonatan Daniel Souza Motta Montero , (born March 7, 1989 in Salto ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.83 meter tall defensive player Souza Motta was at the beginning of his career from the Apertura 2009 to the Clausura 2011 in the squad of the first division club Liverpool Montevideo . With the Montevideans he played four in the 2009/10 season and 26 in the 2010/11 season in the Primera División . He didn't score a goal. He was also used in two Copa Libertadores matches . In 2011 he joined Boca Unidos , but did not play in the Primera B Nacional in the 2011/12 season. In 2012 he returned to Uruguay. There he played 13 times for the first division club Rampla Juniors in the 2011/12 season (no goal). In 2013 a loan to Club Atlético Progreso followed . He played 14 first division matches (no goal) with the club from Montevideo in the 2012/13 season. At Apertura 2013 Souza Motta moved to the first division club Cerro Largo FC . There he completed 16 games in the Primera División in the 2013/14 season and scored one goal. The club from Melo rose at the end of the season in the Segunda División . Souza Motta moved to the second division Villa Teresa in August 2014 , with whom he was promoted to the Primera División at the end of the 2014/15 season. He contributed with 19 league appearances (four goals). In the first division season 2015/16 he was used 28 times (two goals). At the beginning of July 2016 he started working for Deportivo Táchira . For the Venezuelans, he completed six first division games (no goal). He returned to Villa Teresa in mid-February 2017 and has so far (as of July 24, 2017) been used in 13 second division games (no goal).
