Jiřina Němcová
Jiřina Němcová (born Vobořilová; born April 3, 1937 in Prague ) is a former Czechoslovak discus thrower , high jumper and shot putter . Among other things, she achieved the following:
- In 1954 she was fifth in the discus throw at the European Athletics Championships in Bern .
- At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956, she was seventh in the discus throw and eighth in the high jump .
- In the discus throw she was eighth at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, fifth at the 1962 European Championship in Belgrade, ninth at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo and seventh at the 1966 European Championship in Budapest.
- Eight times she was Czechoslovakian champion in discus throw (1960-1967) and once in the shot put (1956).
