Jim Henson's Dog City (alternate title: Dog City) is Canadian - American - British animated series that was produced between 1992 and 1995 .

Dog City is mostly inhabited by dogs . The animator Eliot also lives there. He is working on an animated series that revolves around the private detective Ace Hart, who, together with the police chief Rosie and the newsboy Eddie, uncovered crimes and had many adventures. Since the author and the cartoon character Eliot communicate with each other, they develop the episodes together.
