Jim Knipfel
Jim Knipfel (born June 2, 1965 in Green Bay , Wisconsin ) is an American writer .
Life
He studied at the University of Minnesota and after dropping out , kept himself afloat with various jobs. He now lives in Brooklyn and writes a weekly column for the NEW YORK PRESS .
He suffers from an incurable eye disease ( retinopathia pigmentosa ) that is slowly making him blind .
