James "Jim" Gerald Thibert (* 14. June 1940 in Toledo , Ohio ) is a former American American football poker players. He played one season as linebacker for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL).

college

Thibert played college football at the University of Toledo from 1960 to 1962 . For the Toledo Rockets he played as tight end and defensive end .

Career

Thibert was selected in the 1962 AFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers as the 176th player in the 22nd round. He was fired after the preseason . In 1963 he played half a season with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League and then one season with the Toledo Tornadoes . In 1965 the Green Bay Packers signed him before he moved to the Denver Broncos , for which he completed 13 games.
