Jimmy Muindi
Jimmy Muindi (also: Jimmy Mwangangi Muindi ; born August 14, 1973 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .
He achieved most of his successes at the Honolulu Marathon , in which he took one of the top three places for 13 years in a row, with six wins (1999, 2000, 2003-2005, 2007), four second (1996, 1997, 2002, 2006) ) and three third places (1995, 1998, 2001).
In 2005 he won the Rotterdam Marathon in his best time of 2:07:50. In 2002 he finished fifth in the Berlin Marathon . He finished fifth in the Chicago Marathon in 2003, fourth in 2004 and third in 2006.
