Chae Jin-soo (born August 10, 1958 ) is a South Korean organist and professor of music at Sungkyul University in Anyang (South Korea) .
biography
Chae first studied music in Seoul . Further studies took him to Germany, where he studied the organ with Heinz Markus Göttsche and Hermann Schäffer (concert exam). Since 1991 he has been a professor of music at Sungkyul University in South Korea. In 2000 he spent a year as a visiting professor at the University of Mainz . During this time he wrote a basic textbook on organ studies in Korean. Chae lived in Bad Kreuznach for the year and performed several times as an organist in the parish of Nahe and Glan, including in the Diakoniekirche Bad Kreuznach .
