Jindřich Dohnal (born January 31, 1972 in Ostrava ) is a former Czech football player .

Club career

Dohnal started playing football at Baník Ostrava when he was eight . The midfielder made his debut in the 1991/92 season in the first team and came to a total of eight first division appearances. Then Dohnal moved for a year to the then second division TŽ Třinec , in the 1993/94 season he was under contract with Ostroj Opava .

Subsequently, Dohnal was obliged by the first division club Slovan Liberec . However, he only played one league game for Northern Bohemia. In the summer of 1995 he returned to Třinec and became a constant at SK Železárny. After two years Dohnal went to league rivals FC Vítkovice , in whose team he held a regular place.

In early 1999 Dohnal moved to 1. FC Magdeburg , for whom he met seven times in 44 league games until May 2000. Then the Czech moved on to SV Meppen before returning to FC Vítkovice in early 2002. In the summer of 2004 Dohnal signed with the Czech third division newcomer FC Hlučín , with whom he was able to celebrate the march through to the second division. There he ended his career after the 2005/06 season.
