The Jindo Bridge ( kor. 진도 대교 , Hanja 珍 島 大橋 ) is a suspension bridge opened in 1984 in South Korea . National Road No. 18 runs over the only double- stay cable bridge in South Korea from Nokjin, Gunnae-myeon, Jindo-gun to Hakdong, Munnae-myeon, Haenam-gun . It connects the island of Jindo with the mainland. A second bridge with a width of 12.5 m was opened on December 15, 2005, creating today's twin bridge.
