Jining (Ulanqab)
Jining Municipality ( Chinese 集 宁 区 , Pinyin Jíníng Qū ; Mongolian ᠵᠢᠨᠢᠩ ᠲᠣᠭᠣᠷᠢᠭ Jiniŋ toɣoriɣ ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Ulanqab in the center of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regionin the north of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 114 km² and has a population of around 260,000 (2004). It is the seat of the city government and administrative center.
