Jirō Takeda ( Japanese 武田 治郎 , Takeda Jirō ; born September 18, 1972 in Ehime Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Takeda learned to play soccer on the school team at Matsuyama Commercial High School . He signed his first contract with Yanmar Diesel (today: Cerezo Osaka) in 1991 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . In 1994 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . In 1994 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . For the club he completed 18 games. In 1999 he moved to league competitor Vissel Kobe . For the club, he completed 52 first division games. At the end of 2001 he ended his career as a football player.
