João Felipe Schmidt Urbano , or simply João Schmidt (born May 19, 1993 in São Paulo ), is a Brazilian football player .

Career

João Schmidt learned to play football in the youth team of FC São Paulo in São Paulo . Here he also signed his first professional contract in 2012. In the first year he won the Copa Sudamericana with the club . Here they defeated the Argentine representative CA Tigre in two finals . In the competition he came only to a 15-minute use in the 2nd round in the first leg against EC Bahia .

From July 2014 to June 2015 he was loaned to Vitória Setúbal in Portugal . The Setúbal club played in the country's highest league, the Primeira Liga .
