Joël Groff (born September 11, 1968 in Luxembourg ) is a former Luxembourg football player .

Career

society

Groff began his playing career in 1986 at Union Luxemburg . With the capital city club he was Luxembourg champion three times in a row and won the Coupe de Luxembourg twice .

In 1994 he moved to F91 Dudelange , where he also won three championships in a row. In 2002 he ended his active career.

National team

Between 1989 and 1998 Groff completed 36 international matches for the Luxembourg national team , in which he did not score. He played his first game on October 11, 1989 in the 3-0 defeat in the World Cup qualifier against Portugal in Saarbrücken . He had his last appearance on June 5, 1998 in the friendly against Germany , which ended with a 7-0 defeat for the Luxembourgers.
