Joël Volluz

Joël Volluz (born August 22, 1991 in Le Châble , Canton of Valais ) is a Swiss racing driver .

Career

In 2008 Volluz won the Formula LO , then called "LO formula lista junior". In 2009 and 2010 he drove in the Formula Renault 2.0 CH , a sub-series of the Formula Renault . In 2011, he began in a Reynard 95D with inserts in the Formula 3000 in hill climb and was runner-up in 2012 in Switzerland.

He took part in the Mickhausen hill climb several times , including in an Osella FA 30 Zytek . In a race in Vallecamonica , he achieved his first overall victory. In 2013 he competed in runs for the European Hill Climb Championship and finished the first race in third place.

Lionel Régal , who died in an accident in 2010, is referred to as a role model.

Private

His main job is as a car mechatronics technician (German name; he describes himself in his French mother tongue as "Mecanicien") in the "garage volluz" .
