Joachim Deicke

Joachim Deicke (* in Berlin-Neukölln ) is a German radio presenter and journalist . He works for Funkhaus Europa in its editorial team at Radio Bremen .

His first publication was a hand-drawn comic in the family publishing house. He worked as a freelance journalist and radio presenter at RIAS Berlin (later DeutschlandRadio Berlin ). From 1987 to September 2011 he presented his own weekly program Pops tönende Wunderwelt on Radio Bremen (Bremen Eins). From 1991 to 1999 he worked at MDR-Sputnik and from 1995 until it was hired at the SFB's Radio Multikulti . In 1999 he came to the Cologne editorial office of Funkhaus Europa .

From 1980 to 1985 Deicke was an editor at the Berlin zitty publishing house in the fields of music, media and politics. He publishes in newspapers, magazines and books. According to his own statements, he has been a “passionate Caribbean fan, diver, cook, photographer and rum connoisseur” since 1988 and has traveled extensively through Central America and across the Antilles, both large and small.

Deicke lives in Seebergen on the Wümme near the Teufelsmoors.
