Joachim Fischer-Dieskau

Joachim Fischer-Dieskau (* as Joachim Fischer November 27, 1896 in Berlin ; † July 20, 1977 in Bad Godesberg ) was a German lawyer and ministerial official.

Life

After graduation in 1914 and military service (until 1920) studied Fischer 1919-1921 in Berlin and Konigsberg law and a doctorate on 6 March 1925 in Marburg / Lahn to Dr. iur. From 1927 to 1945 he worked as a consultant for housing and urban development in the Reich Ministry of Labor , most recently as ministerial director and general consultant for housing and settlement policy. In Vienna he was a social policy advisor at the German embassy from 1930–31. In Berlin he was seconded to the Reich Housing Commissioner Robert Ley from 1942 to 1945 . During his time in Königsberg he was a member of the DNVP, from 1937 of the NSDAP. He added the name Fischer-Dieskau from 1934.

In March 1949, after private employment in the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior, he was hired by the Supreme Building Authority. From October 1949 he served in the Federal Ministry for Housing , from 1953 Ministerial Director . In 1957 he was retired and in October 1957 moved to the board of directors of Deutsche Bau- und Bodenbank AG .
