Karl Christian leader

Karl Christian Führer (born January 12, 1954 in Bonndorf ) is a German historian .

Life

He studied history, literature and education at the University of Hamburg , where he received his PhD in 1986. phil. PhD and habilitation in 1993 at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg . He is an adjunct professor at the University of Hamburg and was a research assistant at the History Department of the Leibniz University in Hanover and at the Research Center for Contemporary History in Hamburg.

His areas of research and interests are the economic and social history of the 20th century, the history of social security systems and the history of the media.
