Joachim Heidorn

Joachim Heidorn (* 1951 in Hanover ) is a German diplomat .

Life

After graduating from high school, Heidorn studied at the Philipps University of Marburg , where he completed his doctorate in 1981 with a dissertation on the topic of legitimacy and governability. Studies on the legitimacy theories of Max Weber , Niklas Luhmann , Jürgen Habermas and the ungovernability research .

He then joined the foreign service . Most recently, Heidorn was Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Jordan until 2011 , where he was replaced by Ralph Tarraf . From 2011 to 2013 Heidorn was ambassador to the Philippines .
