Joachim Jänisch (born May 1, 1929 in Herborn , † August 10, 2001 in Siegen ) was a German football player .

Jänisch came to Eintracht Frankfurt in 1951 through TuS 1910 Driedorf, SSC Juno Burg and SpVgg Griesheim 02 . From 1951 to 1953 he was in the ranks of Eintracht after coach Kurt Windmann had signed him to reinforce the offensive department. The man from the Westerwald completed his first league game for Eintracht on August 19, 1951 in a 4-2 away win against VfR Mannheim. The Eintracht inner trio was made up of Hubert Schieth , Jänisch and Alfred Pfaff . The team from the Riederwald finished fourth in the south in 1951/52 at the end of the round and Jänisch had topped the internal goalscorer list with twelve goals. When the championship success in southern Germany was successful in 1952/53 , Jänisch only made twelve league appearances and scored five goals. In 1953 he moved to Rot-Weiss Essen . There he belonged in the 1954/55 season to the team that won the German championship with 4: 3 goals against the Walter-Elf from Kaiserslautern. In the Oberliga West he only made eight league appearances under coach Fritz Szepan , but in the final round he completed six games as a right defender at Willi Köchling's side , including the final on June 26, 1955 in Hanover. In the year he defended his title, 1955/56, he increased his stakes to 19 league games alongside national goalkeeper Fritz Herkenrath and center runner Heinz Wewers and was also against defender colleague Walter Zastrau in the first two European cup games of a DFB team in September / October 1955 Hibernian Edinburgh active. The fast, head-ball and above all never plugging all-round player made another twelve league appearances in 1956/57 under the new coach Elek Schwartz , but at the end of the round had to end his career as a sports invalid after a total of 44 league games for RWE with two goals.

Jänisch, who was born in Herborn and comes from Driedorf , graduated from high school in Dillenburg and studied geography and physical education to become a teacher in Frankfurt . After passing the secondary school teacher examination, he initially worked in his profession in Essen. Since 1964 he lived and worked in Siegen . There he worked as a teacher at a Geisweider secondary school until his retirement . Jänisch was married and had two children.
