Joachim Jung (born February 27, 1951 in Bamberg ) is a German artist.

biography

Jung studied from 1973 to 1980 at the art academies in Munich and Copenhagen . In 1978 he received a DAAD scholarship for Denmark, in 1983 a scholarship from the city of Munich, in 2001 a working scholarship in Salzburg and in 1987 a graduate scholarship from the Academy of Fine Arts Munich for the Munich-Kairouan project . In 1997 he was awarded the Friedrich Baur Prize of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts, and in 2009 he received the Schwabing Art Prize from the City of Munich's Department of Culture. Joachim Jung lives as a freelance artist in Munich.

The windows were funded by the “Street Art Foundation” of the Munich City Savings Bank.
