Joachim Krüger (politician)
Joachim Krüger (born July 6, 1949 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ).
Krüger passed the Abitur and Baccalauréat at the French Gymnasium in 1969 . He studied French, history, Latin and archeology and passed the state examination in 1973 . For many years he worked as a teacher for French, Latin and history at the Thomas Mann Comprehensive School in Berlin-Reinickendorf .
Krüger has been a member of the CDU since 1967, where he is the local chairman in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and district treasurer. He was also regional chairman of the CDU social committees at the CDA , district chairman of the CDA in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and a member of the district executive committee. From 2001 to 2011 he was city councilor for citizen services in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Since December 5, 2011, he was among the substitutes for the retired Andreas Statzkowski the Berlin House of Representatives on. There he was the social policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group. In 2016 he left parliament.
