Joachim Krebs (politician)

Joachim Krebs (born March 26, 1935 ) is a former German functionary of the GDR block party DBD . He was a member of the presidium and secretary of the party executive committee of the DBD.

Life

The son of an employee qualified as a state-certified farmer and a qualified farmer. He became a member of the DBD in 1955. From 1960 to 1972 he worked in managerial positions at the Pritzwalk District Council , such as the chief agronomist in the District Agriculture Council and in the Council for Agriculture and Food Management. From 1972 to 1983 he acted as 1st secretary of the DBD district board in Pritzwalk and from July 1983 to May 1987 as deputy chairman and secretary of the DBD district board in Magdeburg .

In May 1987 he was elected member of the presidium and secretary of the party executive committee of the DBD and on May 15, 1988 as the successor to Horst Finner at the 13th congress of the Society for German-Soviet Friendship (DSF) as a member of the executive committee of the central executive committee of DSF called.
