Joachim Luhrmann (born May 18, 1952 in Osnabrück ) is a German musician , drummer , percussionist , producer and composer . From 1981 to 1982 he was part of the backing band Reinforced by Heinz Rudolf Kunze .

Life

Joachim Luhrmann completed a degree in architecture.

He had two years of lessons with the drummer of the Osnabrück Symphony Orchestra, from then on he continued to teach himself. Since 1980 he has been teaching drums at the Osnabrück Music and Art School. Luhrmann has also been a drum teacher in Münster and at the University of Osnabrück. He led percussion courses for various adult education centers and TPZ Lingen .

Luhrmann was and is a drummer and percussionist for numerous jazz-rock-pop ensembles, such as the Peter Finger Trio, the Heinz Rudolf Kunze Band, Falckenstein and Blues Co. He works as a drummer for various Afro-dance workshops among others in Bonn, Frankfurt, Vienna.

Luhrmann has had his own recording studio since 1980, and he also managed the recording studio he set up in 2000 at the Institute for Music at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences until 2009. He has participated in more than 170 album productions as a musician and / or sound engineer, producer and composer.
