Joachim Schmiele

Joachim Schmiele (born January 27, 1949 in Schwarzheide ) is a German engineer and politician ( DSU ).

Life and work

After attending school and an apprenticeship as an electrician studied Schmiele 1967-1971 Control Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden . From 1971 to 1987 he worked at the VEB equipment and control plant in Teltow . Most recently there he headed the development department for the reconstruction of nuclear power plants and for building automation. In 1986 he became a Dr.-Ing. At the Technical University of Leipzig with the thesis A contribution to the rationalization of the project planning of automation systems through the use of computer technology . PhD. From 1987 to 1990 he headed the CAD / CAM center at the Berlin-Wartenberg engineering college .

politics

Schmiele joined the DSU in early 1990 and was elected to the People's Chamber in the Berlin constituency in March 1990 . From April to October 1990 he was parliamentary manager of the DSU parliamentary group and deputy chairman of the budget committee. In October 1990 he was one of the 144 MPs sent to the Bundestag by the People's Chamber . He was a member of the Bundestag until the end of the electoral term in December 1990 and was a guest of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group .
