Joachim Schulz (born August 1, 1901 in Heiligenbeil ; † September 3, 1983 ) was a German lawyer and mayor of the cities of Prussian Holland and Itzehoe .

Life

After studying law at the University of Königsberg , Schulz passed the first state examination in 1927 and the Great State Examination in Berlin in 1931 .

As early as 1932 he became mayor of the district town of Prussian Holland and was then the youngest mayor of East Prussia . In addition to a five-year war mission, he was district administrator of the Prussian Holland district from 1933 to 1945 . After fleeing the eastern regions, he was elected mayor of the district town of Itzehoe on May 24, 1950. Schulz's term of office, who was unanimously re-elected in 1962, ended in 1966; on January 1, 1967, his successor Günter Hörnlein took over the official business.
