Joachim Wibling

Joachim Wibling , ennobled as Greiffenheim , Swedish Gripenhem (born November 3, 1661 in Söderköping , † July 17, 1739 ) was a Swedish tax official and councilor in Swedish Pomerania .

Joachim Wibling was the son of Joachim Wibling (1610–1675), Mayor of Söderköping, and grandson of Georg Wibling (1585–1665) from Swabia . He became clerk in 1681 and vice chamberlain in 1689 at the Chamber of the Swedish Government in Pomerania . In 1690 he was field treasurer in Major General Jürgen Mellin's army , which moved as a Swedish imperial contingent to the Rhine . In 1694 he became chamber secretary in Swedish Pomerania. In 1700 he accompanied the Governor General of Bremen-Verden , Nils Karlsson Gyllenstierna , on the campaign to Holstein . In 1701 he became chief chamberlain and chief inspector for customs traffic in Pomerania. In 1713 he was appointed government councilor in Swedish Pomerania and in 1724 as castle captain. In 1731 he was commissioner of the reduction commission. In 1736 he retired from civil service with the title of Landshövding .

Joachim Wibling was raised to the Swedish nobility on August 26, 1702 with the name Gripenhem (German Greiffenheim ). The introduction took place in 1705 with the number 1395.

His first marriage was to Barbara von der Püttern (1678–1708) from Stettin. With her he had two daughters. His second marriage was with Maria Constantia Cnypercrona (1690-1717). The two had two daughters and their son Johann August von Greiffenheim (1712–1789).
