Joachim Wohlleben

Joachim Wohlleben (born December 2, 1936 ; † March 31, 2004 ) was a German literary scholar and university professor.

Life

Wohlleben taught at Columbia University in New York , at the University of Beijing and from 1971 at the Free University of Berlin . His research areas also included the reception of Persian in the German-speaking area ( Hafis ). Otherwise he worked a lot on Goethe . He wrote various articles and articles on personalities and objects of the Weimar Classicism , on the reception of antiquities (Benjamin Hederich), among others

Wohlleben was married to Annemarie Wohlleben geb. King.
