Joahan Rodríguez (born August 15, 1975 in Monterrey , Nuevo León ) is a former Mexican football player who mostly played in midfield .

Life

society

Rodríguez began his professional career at the capital club CD Cruz Azul , with which he was under contract between 1996 and the end of 1998 and with whom he won the 1997 winter tournament of the Mexican championship . Then he played for the next few years for Santos Laguna , in whose ranks he was champion for the second time in the summer of 2001. He then had brief engagements at Club Necaxa and Monarcas Morelia before ending his active career in the 2006/07 season in the ranks of Querétaro FC .

National team

Both the first and his last of his 17 caps for the Mexican national team were lost 2-0 to the United States . While his debut on October 25, 2000 was still a test match, the defeat on June 17, 2002 meant that the Mexicans were eliminated from the 2002 World Cup .
