Joan Riera Ferrari

Joan Riera Ferrari (born June 10, 1942 in Manacor , Mallorca ; † May 4, 2017 there ) was a Spanish painter and sculptor .

Life

Joan Riera Ferrari studied at the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi , Barcelona (1962–1967). He has received numerous awards for his work. In 1992 he represented Spain at Expo 92 . He set up a large number of hotels, including the Tucan in Cala d'Or and the Cala d'Or in Santanyí .

Riera Ferrari also dealt with a three-dimensionally designed painting with acrylic , oil paint, sand and pebbles by applying many layers . The main motifs were coastal landscapes.
