Joanne Vannicola

Joanne Vannicola (born April 20, 1968 in Montreal , Québec ) is a Canadian citizen and known as an actress .

Vannicola made her first television appearance when she was fourteen. In 1993 she made her theatrical debut and, with love and other cruelties , her film debut. In 1997 Vannicola took part in the psychological thriller Hysteria . She played a supporting role in the psychological thriller Thought Crimes (2003) and in Stonewall (2015).

She was nominated for the Gemini Award for Best Actress in a TV Series in 1989 and for the Genie Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1994.

Vannicola is committed to the rights of those harmed by child abuse as well as LGBT rights. Vannicola identifies as non-binary .
