Jobo Rabzang

The Jobo Rabzang (other names: Jowo Razang and Jobo Ribjang ) is a mountain in the Himalayas in the autonomous region of Tibet .

The 6666  m (according to other sources 6587  m ) high mountain forms the highest elevation of a glaciated mountain range that lies between the course of the Rolwaling Chu in the west and the Gyabrag glacier in the east. The Jobo Rabzang is located in the district of Tingri . The high mountain pass Nangpa La is 6 km south-southeast. The eight-thousander Cho Oyu rises 12 km southeast of Jobo Rabzang.

It is unclear whether Jobo Rabzang has not yet been climbed. The mountain should not be confused with the similarly named Nepalese peak Jobo Rinjang .
