Jobst Jacob Jenisch

Jobst Jacob Jenisch (also Johann Jacob Jenisch or Johann Jakob Jenisch and Just Jacob Jenisch as well as Jänisch and Jainsch or Janisch ; * around 1660 , † 1741 in Celle an der Aller or in Osnabrück ) was a German mint master .

Life

Jobst Jacob Jenisch worked in the Duchy of Braunschweig-Lüneburg and in the Electorate of Braunschweig-Lüneburg from 1687 to 1705 or 1706 or 1712 as mint master in Celle , during the personal union between Great Britain and Hanover from 1720 to 1725 as mint master in Osnabrück .

On the stamp the embossed under it coins found as a monogram of the artist, the three partly cursive letters III or JJJ

Correspondence in the Leibniz Edition

Jenisch received a memorial dated December 16 or 25, 1693 in the Leibniz edition named after Gottlieb Wilhelm Leibniz as an attachment in a punctation dated November 27, 1693 by Rudolf Bornemann , sent from Zellerfeld to the “Chamber of Hanover, Braunschweig -Lüneburg ".
