Joceline (also Josceline) Percy, 11th Earl of Northumberland (born July 4, 1644 , † May 31, 1670 in Turin ) was an English peer .

He was the only son of Algernon Percy, 10th Earl of Northumberland and his second wife Elizabeth Howard. Following the example of his own father, the 9th Earl , his father himself took part in the upbringing of his son. Joceline traveled to Italy as a teenager and returned to England in 1658. At the coronation of Charles II on April 23, 1661, he served as a page . On November 4, 1661 he became a member of the Inner Temple . He was Lord Lieutenant of Northumberland from 1660 and of Sussex from 1668 .

On December 23, 1663 he married Elizabeth Wriothesley , the third daughter of Thomas Wriothesley, 4th Earl of Southampton . When his father died in 1668, he inherited his title and lands. In 1670 he traveled again to Italy with his wife, his three-year-old daughter and his personal physician John Locke . He left his pregnant wife ill in Paris, he himself traveled on to Turin, where he died on May 21, 1670. A few weeks later, his wife was stillborn.

With his untimely death, the direct line of the House of Percy and the titles of Earl of Northumberland and Baron Percy became extinct . His three-year-old daughter Elizabeth was the sole heir to his extensive estates, and his widow married Ralph Montagu, 1st Duke of Montagu , on August 24, 1673 .
