Jochen Dornbusch (born February 1, 1957 in Duisburg ) is a German cycling trainer.

From 1999 to 2008 Jochen Dornbusch (called JoDo) was the trainer of the German women's national cycling team, which won over 30 medals during this time. The headlines made the expulsion of the driver Larissa Kleinmann from the national team, because, in the opinion of the coach, she had prepared too arbitrarily for the Olympic Games 2008 . In an open letter, the athlete Dornbusch and the sports director of the Association of German Cyclists, Burckhard Bremer, accused them of having “power and arbitrariness”. The driver Hanka Kupfernagel also criticized Dornbusch publicly in September 2008 and accused him of “failure”.

In 2008, Dornbusch moved to the Nürnberger team and after it ended in July 2010 as national coach to Hong Kong . He worked for the women's team at RusVelo for two years . Then he was briefly responsible for the youth work of the US cycling association until he became the new national coach for women in the Baden cycling association in August 2013 . In September 2018 he was introduced as the new head coach of the Brandenburg Cycling Association . He will take office on November 1, 2018 as the successor to Bernd Drogan .
