Jochen Kröhne

Jochen Kröhne (born December 3, 1956 in Altötting ) is a former television program director and television presenter as well as a current media entrepreneur.

After graduating from high school , Kröhne studied business administration in Munich and graduated in 1983 with a degree in business administration . From 1984 to 1988 he was program director of the newly founded broadcaster musicbox , after the conversion to the full program Tele 5 in 1988 also there until the end of the program at the end of 1992. During this time he also moderated the program Werbetrommel . In 1993/94 he was program director at Premiere , and from 1995 to 2000 managing director at tm3 .

In 2000 he founded GetOnAir GmbH to set up television programs and media-related services, where he is the managing partner to this day. In 2004/2005, Kröhne was the founding managing director of the pay station History Channel and from 2002 to 2005 managing director of the (new) television station Tele 5 . From 2009 to 2012 he was managing director of the pay broadcaster Motorvision TV . Until July 13, 2010 he was a member of the supervisory board of Senator Entertainment AG . Jochen Köhne was managing director of Germany's Gold Plattformgesellschaft mbH from May 2012 to September 2013 together with Antoine Schmidt-Roy. According to antitrust reservations, the project was discontinued before the product was launched. Krohne's company has been a partner in the VOD platform Watch4 since the beginning of 2015 ; he himself sits on the company's supervisory board.
