Jochen Reiter (born March 25, 1941 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian skeleton athlete .

Jochen Reiter was one of the best Austrian skeleton pilots in the second half of the 1980s. In 1975 he was one of the founding members of the BSC Stubai . Later he was one of the first participants in the newly created Skeleton World Cup . As a guest starter, he finished second behind Manfred Markl at the German Championships in Königssee in 1989 . Reiter remained active until the first half of the 2000s. In 1998 he won the senior class at the Tyrolean championships. In 2002 he was sixth at the Tyrolean Championships, and in 2004 eleventh at the Austrian Championships. Even after his active career, he remained loyal to the sport and works in official functions for the Austrian and world associations. As Vice President of the ÖBSV, he is responsible for the sport of skeleton.
