Jochen Seitz (born October 11, 1976 in Erlenbach am Main ) is a former German soccer player and current soccer coach .

Seitz began his career at TSV Heimbuchenthal. In 1992 he moved to Viktoria Aschaffenburg . He stayed there for four years and then moved to Hamburger SV . After only a year he left the club and moved on to SpVgg Unterhaching . With the Spielvereinigung he rose to the Bundesliga in 1999 and managed to stay in the league the following season. In 2001 he moved to VfB Stuttgart , three years later to FC Schalke 04 . After only one season there, he signed a contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He stayed there until the winter break of the 2005/06 season and then moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim .

In January 2009, Seitz moved to Alemannia Aachen on a free transfer after he was no longer used at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the first half of the season. Alemannia signed him until the summer of 2010. On June 28, 2009, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement and Seitz moved to the Bulgarian first division club FC Chernomorez Burgas .

During the summer break in 2011, Seitz moved back to Germany for the Bavarian regional league team FC Bayern Alzenau . In 2013 he also took over the position of coach there. For the 2016/17 season he became a coach at Viktoria Aschaffenburg and ended his playing career at the same time.
