Jochen Wiesigel

Jochen Wiesigel (born August 12, 1946 in Mengersgereuth-Hammern near Sonneberg ) is a German author .

Life

Wiesigel graduated from high school in 1965. He then studied German and arts education at the Erfurt University of Education . He broke off the subsequent research studies. He then worked as a teacher at several schools in Erfurt . In 1982 he studied at the Leipzig Literature Institute and then became a freelance author. From 1986 he was a member of the GDR Writers' Association . He has been a freelance journalist since 1990 and lives in Erfurt.
