The Jock's Hope Burn is a watercourse in Dumfries and Galloway , Scotland . It arises on the south side of Middle Hill as Thacky Sike . It changes its name after the confluence of the short Rowantree Grain. It flows in an easterly direction to its confluence with the Meikledale Burn east of the hamlet of Burngrains .
