Joe Odagiri (2015)

Joe Odagiri ( Japanese オ ダ ギ リ ジ ョ ー , Jō Odagiri , real name 小田 切 譲 ; born February 16, 1976 in Tsuyama , Japan ) is a Japanese actor .

Life

Odagiri was born in Tsuyama, Okayama Prefecture. He enrolled at California State University in Fresno in the United States, where he actually wanted to study directing. However, by mistake when registering, he was enrolled in the acting class. From 2000 he worked as an actor in Japan and has since been a sought-after actor in Japanese and South Korean film productions.

At the end of December 2007, he married his fellow actor Yuu Kashii, who was eleven years his junior .
