Joel Glazer

Joel Glazer (* 1970 in Florida ) is an American entrepreneur and billionaire . He is chairman of the English football club Manchester United .

General

Joel Glazer is a member of the Glazer family, which serves primarily on the board of directors of First Allied Corporation . Together with his brother Avram, he is the CEO of the English football club Manchester United. Both were appointed to this position by their father Malcolm Glazer , the club's owner at the time.

Joel Glazer is also the Vice President of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers . With the NFL club he won the Superbowl as vice president in 2003 .

Problems with the Man Utd supporters

On June 30, 2005, demonstrators prevented him and his brother Avi from leaving Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium for taking over their club . A police escort summoned released the two of them from their position.
