Joginder Singh (born June 19, 1997 ) is a Malaysian athlete who competes in the middle-distance run .

Athletic career

Joginder Singh gained first international experience in 2013 when she won the silver medal in the 800-meter run at the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing in 2: 14.14 minutes . In 2016 she finished fifth at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City in 2: 11.95 minutes and the following year she was eliminated from the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku with 2: 12.88 minutes in advance. She then reached fourth place in the 1500 meter run at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in 4: 46.59 min and was fourth over 800 meters in 2: 16.79 min. Two years later she finished fourth at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 2: 10.42 minutes over 800 meters and reached fifth place over 1500 meters in 4: 36.29 minutes. In addition, she finished fifth in the Malaysian 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 47.00 minutes.

In 2018 and 2019, Singh became the Malaysian champion in the 1500 meter run and in 2019 also over 800 meters.
