Johammer J1 is an electric motorcycle from the manufacturer Johammer e-mobility from Bad Leonfelden / Austria , which was presented in 2014.

The motorcycle, driven by a synchronous motor, is built in two versions and has an output of 11  kW (15 HP), an empty weight of 159 or 178 kg - depending on the model - and is automatically limited at a speed of 120 km / h, in order to be able to guarantee a longer range. The range of the batteries , for which a capacity of either 8.3 or 12.7  kWh is specified, is 150 or 200 km. With a battery weight of around 70 kg (model "J1 150"), around 1200 lithium-ion battery cell blocks will be integrated.

During braking and driving downhill is recuperation part of the kinetic energy recovered in order to recharge the battery. The charging time for 80 percent is between two and three hours depending on the version. The vehicle with a wheelbase of 1,455 mm has a two-armed wheel hub steering that is new for an electric motorcycle and its layout is reminiscent of the Majestic . The e-motorcycle has four headlights, with one headlight and indicator being integrated in the front side mirrors.

The cockpit on the handlebars consists of an approx. 2.4-inch, high-resolution color display that is supposed to show all important driving, status and warning information and is integrated in the rearview mirror .

The design was honored with an "Honorable Mention" at the Red Dot Design Award , Product Design 2016.
