Johan Andersson (born March 9, 1984 in Mariestad ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Ducs de Dijon from Ligue Magnus since 2013 .

Career

Johan Andersson began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of Mariestads BoIS , for whose senior team he was active in the third division 1 from 2001 to 2004 . In the 2003/04 season he played parallel for the professional team of Mörrum GoIS in HockeyAllsvenskan , the second Swedish division. After he had spent the 2004/05 season at the second division Skövde IK , the winger played in the following two seasons for their league rivals Växjö Lakers Hockey . From 2007 to 2009 he was on the ice for Frölunda HC in the Elitserien , during which time he continued to play in HockeyAllsvenskan as a loan player in some games for his ex-club Växjö Lakers Hockey and Borås HC .

For the 2009/10 season he returned firmly to Växjö Lakers Hockey. With the team, he was promoted to the Elitserien in 2011.
